class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Regensight promotes better research culture to improve the quality of life of young people afflicted by keratoconus.<\/p>\n<p>The Mario Lombardo Research Award has been established in memory of our co-founders, Marco and Giuseppe, father.<\/p>\n<p>The prize is awarded annually to a young researcher involved in the study and research on keratoconus.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum criteria for awarding the prize are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age under 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Academic degree title<\/li>\n<li>Scientific publication regarding the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis or treatment of keratoconus, in the year in which the Prize is awarded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The merit bonus is awarded for the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-graduate specialization title.<\/li>\n<li>PhD title.<\/li>\n<li>Number of publications in the year in which the Prize is awarded.<\/li>\n<li>Impact factor of the publication(s)<\/li>\n<li>H-index of the young researcher<\/li>\n<li>Further academic qualifications, patents, <em>grants<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any interested young researcher can send the curriculum vitae and the scientific publications to <a href=\"mailto:4social@regensight.com\">4social@regensight.com<\/a> by 23 October of each year.<\/p>\n<p>The award consists of a grant of \u20ac2.500.<\/p>\n<p>The first edition of the award (2022) was assigned to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/regensight.com\/assegnato-il-premio-di-ricerca-mario-lombardo-ad-una-giovane-specialista-in-oftalmologia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Raffaella Gioia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The second edition (2023) was assigned to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/regensight.com\/assegnato-il-premio-di-ricerca-mario-lombardo-al-dr-francesco-doria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Francesco D&#8217;Oria<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The third edition (2024) was assigned to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/regensight.com\/al-dr-umberto-camellin-il-premio-di-ricerca-mario-lombardo-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Umberto Camellin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth edition (2025) was assigned to <a href=\"https:\/\/regensight.com\/al-dr-alfredo-borgia-il-premio-di-ricerca-mario-lombardo-2025\/\">Dr. Alfredo Borgia<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mario
